The Miniature Australian Shepherd previously known as Mini Aussies, has been accepted into AKC. With this acceptance, the Mini Aussie changed its breed name to Miniature "American" Shepherd.
4Paws will defer our name to 4Paws Miniature American Shepherd.
4Paws supports this move and has registered our mini's with AKC,
as the Miniature American Shepherd.

- How will this affect you as a customer? It will change your registration option to AKC registration.
- How will I know how to register my puppy? When you purchase your puppy, you will be shown which registration to register the puppies.
- As of 2019, all puppies will be required to be registered. Currently, we release registration when we receive proof of neuter or spay. With this new change, the puppy's registration will be part of the purchase price and will be signed over to the new owner upon spay or neuter proof.
